OUGD401 - Practical Investigation - Primary Quantitive Survey Research
Having had friends and relatives all between the ages of 13-25 fill out a survey for my final product, I found that 17 out of 29 applicants would be more likely to purchase these wellies within the context which they have been displayed. Particularly, the urban photoshoot seemed to be the context which the viewers found the wellies more appealing whereas, the beach photoshoot was not as successful with viewers questioning why they were being sold as beachwear. Although they would be more likely to purchase the wellies as beachwear when advertised using the photoshoot, many still found the product placement quite confusing and pointless as beachwear. However, almost all of the applicants would be more likely to purchase the wellies for festivals given the urban street photoshoot advertisement.
